Course Description

A course for administrators planning a new NIH writing club

A course for administrators planning a new NIH writing club

This first-of-its kind program represents almost 20 years of Dr. Bouvier's experience running many different types of NIH writing clubs. The program is not for applicants; we developed it for administrators and writing club facilitators. The Writing Club Roadmap is a planning tool with tasks built around timelines to help a facilitator launch a robust and successful writing club. The course is packed with templates, tools, and tips to ensure that your writing club is a success from the get-go. The decision-making tools and myriad resources, together with the course library, will allow a facilitator to design and run an effective writing club with minimal effort. Let us help you design a writing club that is as smooth and impactful as the one you would have designed after 20 years of experience!

This course ultimately:

  • Gives research administrators a repeatable and proven process for designing and hosting writing clubs
  • Lowers the lift for administrators, facilitators, and mentors
  • Reduces reliance on external consultants
  • Ensures an impactful writing club right from the launch
  • Together with our writing courses, offers a strategy for high-quality training for any cohort of grant applicants, including those within a T32, COBRE, CTSA, FIRST, or similar NIH-funded projects

This course is only available for purchase through the Writing Club Bundle, or as part of an organizational subscription to the entire library of courses.
