I absolutely LOVE every minute of every session, it never feels like 2 hours. There are so many good tips and tricks on each slide and the examples are really helpful. This is one of the best RD series available.
Heidi Grunwald, Associate Vice President Research and Faculty Development

North Dakota State University

The Bootcamp grant writing course and the provided materials were informative and easy to understand, even for a first-time grant writer and non-native English speaker.  Meg presented complex topics clearly and understandably, highlighting key points to make grants more marketable. Indeed, solid scientific research is essential for every proposal, but how we present ideas and findings also plays a significant role in the final decision.  I enjoyed the course, and Meg created a welcoming atmosphere, making everyone feel comfortable. She was always open to answering questions, ensuring everyone felt supported and engaged throughout the sessions. Grazie! It was an incredible journey.
Rosario DiStefano PhD, Biostatistics Senior Analyst

Department of Internal Medicine, Top 5 Largest Cancer Hospital

I am a research development specialist with a PhD in the earth sciences (so in other words - not an NIH scientist by any means!). This course was extremely helpful for orienting me to the basics of an R-series application so that I can better advise my faculty on how to pull together a competitive proposal. I appreciated having options of attending live, watching the livestream recording later, or going at my own pace through the LMS virtual course.
Sofia D'Ambrosio PhD, Research Development Specialist

Office of Research Development, University of Massachusetts Lowell

I found this course especially valuable for those of us who have never served as reviewers for an R01 study section. Understanding the importance of considering reviewers’ fatigued eyes, as they evaluate numerous grants within limited timeframes, is invaluable. This course emphasizes the need of taking extra steps to ensure clarity and assist reviewers. Dr. Bouvier’s tips and styles on writing organization, which allow reviewers to quickly grasp the key points of a proposal, were particularly enlightening. I highly recommend this course to senior postdocs and Project Scientists in preparation for their transition to independence.
Angels Almenar PhD, Project Scientist

Pediatrics, University of California San Diego

This class is outstanding. Meg brings so much info and really essential detail to the discussion. Everyone who is writing a grant should take this class.
